REASONS WHY YOU SHOULD LET YOURSELF GROW.

Growth to anyone is relative, growth to me can be finally learning how to arrange my room but to you it can be learning how to let go of toxic people. Growth no matter how strenuous is always for the better, just like time, with growth there is no going back.
Growth is like rain drops trying to feel a stream, vessel is still the same, the water might be sweeter but its capacity is reached it runs over. When growth visits you, old skins have to find their way back to earth.

THE REASON WHY YOU SHOULD LET YOURELF GROW

“started from the bottom, now we are here”- Drake

I grew up watching Mo Abudu on Moments with MO.
I remember always being excited to watch her show, Lord knows I didn’t understand half of the things she was saying, but I saw a woman who was able to make her guests feel at home and ask well-thought-out questions. Now she is the owner of EBONY LIFE TV.
Everyone you aspire to become started from somewhere. No one jumped into the shoes they wear now, they had to grow into them.
Wearing oversized clothing as kids is a tradition in every African household, because you were supposed to grow into it. This shows that growth is expected, at least physically but the mental aspect is where the real work is.
An African mother looking at you when you say "the cloth is too big for you".

                  WITH GROWING COMES PAINS.
Growing up is very lonely, it’s a personal journey that comes with a lot of ups and down. You see yourself changing your views and perspective on various issues, you start to loose and gain friends, your body is changing, your family and friends are changing too and it seems like your perfect little world is crumbling before you. I remember the first time I asked a friend of mine to do something for me and she said NO. I was so pissed, but I had to learn that people are going to tell you no and it’s okay.
Growing up comes with a lot of emotional pains, especially from relationships. Imagine a Danfo bus, people come in and drop off at their bus stops but the bus driver doesn’t drop off with them. He is always constant, the number of people coming in and dropping of will change but he won’t.
Everyone has a role to play in your life and when they are done with their scene, it is okay for them to take a bow. A hard nut to chew but it is inevitable.
Growth also comes with the fear of not becoming, well if you don’t try then it’s the same as failing. Trying and failing comes with learning, it arms with experience that you don’t read about in books. It might seem safer to be stuck in the same phase, but ask yourself, is this all I can be?
Growing also comes with acceptance. To improve yourself must accept who you are at this time, so you be better. You must be patient with yourself, time will surely write your progress story. Mine is currently in the nineteenth chapter, and ink never finish.

DRB LASGIDI PIONEERS ALBUM REVIEW

Drb lasgidi are pioneers in the alternative market their new album"THE PIONEERS " brought together the whole family of the "alte" movement with some leading figures in the movement like Odunsitheengine,Santi, Lady Donli, Tems and Maison2500 and also the street OG rapper Olamide, with lead singles "necessary", "softly" and "shomo". They recently dropped a documentary which starred grime act Skpeta and African afro pop star Davido giving praises to the group and acknowledging them as pioneers that they are, the 35minutes album features production credit from Pheelz, GMK ,Genio, Adey and Beatmeister.

The pioneers was an album aimed at showing how important making music and how they started pioneered the alternative movement, months earlier before the album the group dropped "NECESSARY"as a single then dropping two other singles namely "SHOMO" and "SOFTLY". The album dropped on May 1 2020 after ten solid years.

It kicked off with "SOFTLY" which for me personally is a dope entrance into an album , and continued with "MA PARIWO" which features the enjoyment president Lady Donli  and it's also followed by "KASALA"which means "TROUBLE " in the Nigerian pidgin English which features the sensation Prettyboy-DO  who ate the track with the decent hook on it , another track that stood out was the third track which features "alte" sensation Santi and masion 2500 which is more of a trap sound masion2500 also showed his skills on this track , it also continued with "SET IT OFF" the track that had no guest appearance which the group also did justice too, "TROUBLE" which features  "alte" star girl TEMS who just recently hopped on a remix with American star Khalid on the song "know your worth" also did what she had to do on this tape ,waniwonder who is a serial killer of tunes did justice to the next track which is titled "I SWEAR".
In the end, this is DRB'S first proper mainstream project which for me I would say it's a 7.5 and its really decent one at that, the group didn't misfire on their first shot at mainstream and that's quite commendable for everyone to listen.

Listen to the album here.

BROKEN

Stayed in bed with my thoughts,
playing hide and seek with my soul,
replaying moments with Mary and Booze,
showing me my past and tribulations winning battles,
I was destined to win from earth's time,
but the fear of lot of blind things leads the eagle's eyes to sprain
his neck on the wrong prey,
wandered around life connecting dots on how far we have come,
to give our dreams to masters who molest reality before our eyes,
kept saying we would never make our test on papers for never believing their coup deter,
lost my identical team mate on our best day,
playing that important match that lead us to the finals of the next stage,
trust me never to say anything but I know everything,
your scent is flower beautiful like the roses,
blessings the morning with its aroma of hope and nature
I had to push my struggles forward to exchange it for smiles and fame someday,
I made it alone with mortals breaking souls in the streets,
got the baddest bitch but she is every brother's stick,
but I mind my business rolling dice on the vertical end of my street,
but every man has his death story to tell while,
surviving  on oxygen in the country's O².

WEED: HAPPY 4: 20 DAY

In the spirit of 4:20, we would be talking about everything you need to know about weed and how you can smoke without getting hurt or loosing your mind.
“Hey hood man you got some mary”? or you hear “badman make we go pray now”,you're not far from a stoner or group of selfless calm individuals under the influence of grace and wisdom. 80% of Nigerian parents were preachers of this gospel in a wrong perspective and that has kept some of us in fear of beholding the Holy stick of Juana, but a good number has tried to break and visit the Holy land, many with good stories and some never returned and have stories of regret and swear words of never going back.
Today, we'd be talking about everything you need to know before visiting the Holy Temple of Mary J.There are different types of weed or marijuana.“Marijuana” refers to the dried stems, leaves or flowers of the plant “Cannabis”. The main active ingredient in weed is the chemical Δ-9-tetrahydrocanabinol ,or simply "THC".  It has physcoactive effects which can altermoods, alertness and cognitive functioning. Canabidol or CBD is also a large component of weed plant and has relaxation effects that does not have the psychoactive effects of THC. CBD can be used to relieve pain. The strongest types of weed tend to have a high ratio of THC to CBD, meaning there is alot of THC and less of CBD.

     Types of Weed and effects

The two major types of weed comes from two different species of the cannabis plant.
1)Cannabis Indica
 2)Cannabis Sativa

The types of weed vary based on the effects they have on a person or the type of high they give. The third one, Cannabis Rudralis, not common among dealers in Lagos and has also been used to make weed. It has lower level if THC and is mostly used for medicinal marijuana.

1) Indica

The origin is believed to come from the Hindu “Kush" region close to Afganistan. Anyone who knows anything Marijuana knows that kush there is really strong weed. It tends to be shorter and have the appearance of a bush. The leaves are darker and rounder than Sativa plant. The buds grows in caps and it produces a large amounts of THC and low levels of CBD, it is strong weed and very relaxing or sedating, sometimes you just want to pass out on the floor. It is advised to be smoked at night before going to bed. Some of the epic names given to top flavour include Purple haze, Granddaddy purple etc.

2) Sativa
Unlike Cannabis Indica, Cannabis Sativa alternative has energizing effects which is why is advised to be smoked in the morning or afternoon. This strain of marijuana is used primarily for depression and exhaustion. The effects of Sativa in the body are said to be uplifting and allows you to bring your creative demons out. Also medicinally,it can treat ADD and mood disorders. Some of the popular flavour under Sativa include sour diesel, Jack heter and Lemon haze.

3) Hybrid.
Hybrid strains are made by cross germinating the seeds of the two common strains of cannabis in an attempt to produce both. Most strains commonly grown today are hybrids rather than pure Indica or Sativa.

  Mental Effects Of Marijuana
-it can impair memory.
-Ability to think and react is challenged.
-It can lead you to get anxiety and paranoia.
-Mood swings.
-Hallucinations is very possible.

Countries That Smoke The Most Marijuana.
-Jamaica
-Australia
-Spain
-Canada
-Nigeria
-Italy
-Iceland

Health Benefits.
-Used for glaucoma because marijuana decreases the inner pressure of the eye.
-Marijuana can assist greatly in regards to epilepsy.
-Marijuana is an excellent way to assist those with mood disorders.
-Decreases anxiety, depression, stress and insomnia.

NB: Now you know you need to know but just know this pocket rules
1)Never let anyone force you to dope a strain, smoke when your mind feels free.
2)When you behold the Holy stick, your tolerance level should determine how many puffs you intake.
3)Come down when you've reached your bustop.
4)As a beginner, don't drag too much you might choke and get uneasy.
4)Dont do drugs, just smoke weed.

HAPPY 4:20 READERS.

SEX AND DRUGS.

Baby let me stare at you while i grind my plant,
flashbacks from the last scene hits harder at night,
like my strokes on your pussy tonight,
with moans and groans and likkle cum top,
billing my zoot while i carefully undress you with my naked eyes,
sparks my interest and kneels to your temple to pray,

Hail Mary,
fill my grace with her waters of beauty,
tongues locked in a prison filled with white men running for pleasure,
booking our minds on Mary's brown jet to fly,
medicate our lone souls on a journey of pain and pleasure,
I'll take you to a universe filled with unicorns and rainbows,
where your legs keeps shaking like Rambo,
five rounds of everything pretty and nice,
pray to Mary for our souls to rest in Nirvana,
mama please keep my enemies away from soul and destiny,
six rounds and we still burning slowly into the night,
with sweat,blood and sex confessions,
she said she prays this lasts forever but the universe keeps changing condoms like humans.

WITH LOVE FROM YOUR SLAVE.

I get lost in the fantasy of your smiles,
intoxicated by love or something close to it,
wondering like a zombie in your world,
your words were smooth enough to hold keep a criminal,
moonwalkin slowly, your ex calls me Michael,
you healed our wounds with your decietful words,
and clothed me with the cloak of confusion,
just to keep me lame from being a toxic man,
admonished my phone to ring your bells again
nights I begged you to loosen my cuffs but, the time difference had us Lagos to London
you were my best memory but it got formatted by a virus you created in my system,
far away into the fields you ran and exited me,
travelled to the far city called Distance and, left letters on your kitchen shelf with my, slave keys and a poison to kill my mind,
after reading.
    Hello Prisoner,
I'm sorry for hurting your heartless heart again by acting like your best dream while I manifested into the nightmare that rains sweat on your body. Sorry for acting like I cared while I needed your good deeds to heal my broken pot so I can fetch feelings for my Master to drink all night till we done making love, please don't imagine us more than a painful memory you don't deserve this, I knew what I wanted but I kept your good heart racing cars with no direction or finish tracks. I promise to act like I care when next I ascend in your life but the poison won't kill your spirit but weaken your heart to succumb to my wails again. Take care loser.
Your worst nightmare.
