       Drb lasgidi are pioneers in the alternative market their new album"THE PIONEERS " brought together the whole family of the "alte" movement with some leading figures in the movement like Odunsitheengine,Santi, Lady Donli, Tems and Maison2500 and also the street OG rapper Olamide, with lead singles "necessary", "softly" and "shomo". They recently dropped a documentary which starred grime act Skpeta and African afro pop star Davido giving praises to the group and acknowledging them as pioneers that they are, the 35minutes album features production credit from Pheelz, GMK ,Genio, Adey and Beatmeister.

The pioneers was an album aimed at showing how important making music and how they started pioneered the alternative movement,months earlier before the album the group dropped "NECESSARY"as a single then dropping two other singles namely "SHOMO" and "SOFTLY". The album dropped on May 1 2020 after ten solid years.

        It kicked off with "SOFTLY" which for me personally is a dope entrance into an album , and continued with "MA PARIWO" which features the enjoyment president Lady Donli  and it's also followed by "KASALA"which means "TROUBLE " in the Nigerian pidgin English which features the sensation Prettyboy-DO  who ate the track with the decent hook on it , another track that stood out was the third track which features "alte" sensation Santi and masion 2500 which is more of a trap sound masion2500 also showed his skills on this track , it also continued with "SET IT OFF" the track that had no guest appearance which the group also did justice too, "TROUBLE" which features  "alte" star girl TEMS who just recently hopped on a remix with American star Khalid on the song "know your worth" also did what she had to do on this tape ,waniwonder who is a serial killer of tunes did justice to the next track which is titled "I SWEAR".
      In the end, this is DRB'S first proper mainstream project which for me I would say it's a 7.5 and its really decent one at that, the group didn't misfire on their first shot at mainstream and that's quite commendable for everyone to listen.
