Loyz Fluoresces Positive Energy in 'Peace of Mind’

Loyz, a Nigerian singer and songwriter who grew up in Port Harcourt city gift-wraps african-inspired melodies in his new single “Peace of Mind”. The exciting sound starts off with his visceral vocals married perfectly with the emotional and catchy beat produced by Dannyblaze.

“Peace of Mind” embodies a more mellow sound that took a melodic route to beg for positive energy. Loyz’s unmatched songwriting skills, the instrumental’s tempered keys, and supine percussion is behind the peculiarity this song has.

Heavily influenced by his realities as a young kid who grew up in a not-too-soothing environment, Loyz protests for “Peace of Mind” as he sings ‘It’s not funny oo, E no easy to live and happy o, Only one life wey we get’.

Effects

You have absolutely no right to be fucking with my mind this way,

Mood swings here and there,

You don't even seem to know what you do,

You don't know the effect you have,

And that's annoying too.

Cos how dare you not see what you do to me?

Take me back or shut me out... totally

Cos this state of limbo is driving me crazy.

The Best Plugs to eat Amala in Lagoss.

PrintIf you are from the western region of Nigeria or you live within the area, chances are you have a deep love for Amala. The popular Nigerian delicacy made out of yam flour or cassava flour, it is difficult to visit any of the local bukkas in cities like Ibadan and Lagos without finding the meal on the menu.
The great thing about Amala is that it is quick and easy to prepare, but when not prepared well, be ready to eat your Amala with lumps inside it and trust me you don't want that for your tummy. It is usually eaten alongside soups such as ewedu, gbegiri, okra and more, it is lightweight and makes for an easy swallow down the throat.

1) Amala Shitta Surulere

Surulere no dey carry last!! If you find yourself around Shita “Small London”, then you need to try out our Amala before leaving our area code. Highly recommend with a chilled bottle of coke to step down the fun. It's a great spot to unwind with friends and elevate your taste buds to the other level.

2) Belgium Canteen, Mile 2

Don't let the foreign name take your mind away from the African delicacy you're about to eat. The rush hour during lunch time can make you wait endlessly for your order, so a quick tip “Always come early”.

3) White House, Yaba

Yaba is commonly known as Nigeria Silicon Valley and it lives up to its name and expectations. One of the many gems you should be in Yaba is The White House, and yes you should try out thier Amala and thank me later. It's affordable and worth the stress, so roll up your sleeves and dive into the beauty of your ewedu and Ogunfe.

4) Olaiya Surulere

The secret to the ever-present crowd at the Olaiya canteen in Surulere has been passed down from one generation to another. Whatever it does not matter much to us amala lovers, as long as they keep serving us wonderful amala gbigbona with ewedu plus gbegiri and lots of soft chunky kpomo. There’s also a branch in the University of Lagos but the ‘real Olaiya experience’ is in Surul

Trust

It's like salt when it touches the ground,
It loses its taste and becomes useless,
In a world filled with lies and hate,
You must find one mortal to bury your trust in.

For a baby to walk he has to crawl his knees on the earth,
Same as life before you live
you must survive all the hurdles,
Jumping with faith that the sun must shine tomorrow,
But why must I cry before I smile?

I know emotions comes with lies,
Leaving everyone at the mercy of a king called Pressure,
A king who spares no one who has no believe for tomorrow,
Leading earthlings on a quest that never assures coming home.

Some survive with alot of stories to tell,
Some die on the journey with endless regrets,
While I'm here considering to make my journey,
With hope that even when I die without reaching home,
Please tell my story for me.

Gather at the market square of truth and say,
He was a man who had nothing but went in search of everything,
A man who never regretted his actions but held everyone accountable,
The more you look the less you discover that everything in life is meaningless,
But till then stay home and rest in your peace of mind.

Let’s make love tonight

I can feel you your breath around my neck,

Hugging me from behind you planted a warm kiss,

Your lips feel so different tonight,

So calm, I feel you need me right now,

I turned to face you,

To match the intensity of your breath,

You closed your eyes slowly,

While pulling me closer to meet your lips,

You sighed as we exchanged the first kiss,

Then you held me even tighter as you begin to feast,

Moving your head slowly to the left and to the right,

Trying to get all the kiss at once,

I felt my coochie cry out,

I crossed my legs,

You sensed it I guess,

Then you led me to our bed,

There where all the magic happens,

You had a bottle of white wine for me because you want to make this moment different.

While sipping my wine,

You started talking about all the things you wanted to do to me,

I was already half way into the drink before you started,

I closed my eyes while I savored everything you said,

Picked up every word,

Processed it,

Planted it in my imaginary memory,

Played it over and over,

Quarter to the end of the drink, you started massaging my feet,

You know I love it when you touch me there,

On my feet,

Oooh, with the alcohol already in my system,

I just enjoyed every bit of it,

Then you kissed my feet,

You kissed it continuously until you heard me let out a moan,

You knew I was ready for you.

I took my feet back,

Now you’re smiling cuz you already know,

As I moved closer to you, your eyes lowered,

When I leaned in for a kiss, you sighed and let me do my thing,

You still had your easy shirt on,

While kissing you, I slid my hands in to feel your nipple,

I heard you let out a soft moan,

I reached for your lips and kissed you while running my hands on your warm skin,

I took off your shirt,

Just while you were trying to remove it completely,

I placed my cold lips on your nipple,

Flickered, flickered, bite, flickered, bite, flickered, sucked,

You moaned out loudly while holding my head against your nipple,

I moved on to the next one while rubbing my thumb and middle finger on your nipple,

You were getting so much in the mood,

I moved from the nipple and started planting kisses on your belly areas while using both hands to play with your nipple,

Your eyes were shut.

Touching your torso I felt you wiggle,

That excitement filled my heart,

You miss mama babe?

Slid my hands into your short, I felt you

So hard and so ready,

But I had to taste you first,

I miss how you feel in my mouth,

You smell so fresh and clean,

I kissed you there,

I felt you jump,

I then kissed your cap and glide my tongue on it gently,

While stroking on your length

I used my tongue to follow my hands movement

I love when I breathe on you

When you allow me just give you pleasure

You were there whim-ping

I sucked on you

Spat sucked, up and down strokes

Did this for 10 times

I kissed your balls

Used my tongue to flicker and suck, flicker and suck

You’re groaning now

I intensified it

Now you’re begging me to sit on you

“I want to feel you pls” he said

I pretend not to hear

Then he groaned softly again and said “ I want to feel you babe”

It’s been a while I heard you say that

Then i came up on you

As I tried to sit on you, we both feel a connection while trying to join bodies

It feels deeper every time

Our moans are always louder everytime

With the current I feel in my body I begin to ride

Now I’m sitting on you

Rolling my waist against you while still touching your nipples

I keep at it

Now you loose it

You hold my waist to direct me on how you want to feel me

You call my name

Telling me how you’ve always wanted me

Asking me why I became so distant

Mumbling “ I love you” under your breath

You couldn’t get enough of me

Holding me, you tell me how much you miss me

Gasping for air and smiling in satisfaction

“Please don’t leave me again” he said

“Come fuck me doggy” I said

Without a word, he got up And spanked me onto the bed

Sweet violence

You placed pillows right under my belle for support while pulling my waist closer to you

You slid in and leaned forward while at it,

Kissing my neck, saying things to my ear, tilting my neck upwards while having me from behind

You keep saying

“Please don’t leave me again”

With every hit comes the line

I was so turned on, I was moaning so recklessly

Telling him how much I missed him

Telling him how he made me so distant

Saying “I won’t leave you again”

When he heard me say “I won’t leave you again”

He leaned over and kissed me while having me doggy

He held my waist so tight, like I was gonna run

He kept mumbling some words, I was struggling to hear him cuz I was so into the moment with him

He intensified the strokes

Guess he was close to bursting a nut and I heard him say

“I love you Babe, I really do”

Tattoo Lovers, Here Are 5 Essentials You Should Know Before Getting Your First Ink.

Getting a tattoo is one of the coolest pains you can think off, some will say getting an ink is like getting married it stays for life and you definitely don't want to wake up seeing your arm filled with ugly and unhealthy tattoos. To avoid waking and regretting your inked skin, thread carefully on the necessary procedures and wise decisions.

Drink plenty of water

It’s important to stay hydrated during the process and you should drink plenty of water beforehand. Being well hydrated is always a good idea but in this particular case, it helps you last longer and heal quicker afterwards.

Keep your skin moisturized

Obviously don’t slather yourself in moisturizer right before your tattoo but it’s definitely a good idea to moisturize your skin leading up to the day before you go. According to what I’ve read, it also helps the ink take a bit better.

Eat Well

Make sure you eat a good hearty meal before your appointment. Your body is going to need the energy, especially when your instinct is going to be to tense up during the painful parts of the tattoo.

Don't do it on the cheap

Unless you have several friends that can vouch for a cheap tattoo parlor, you're altering your body for life and if it sounds too good to be true then it is.

Choose Wisely

No matter how madly in love you are with someone right now, it's risky putting your soulmates name on your body;what if you are not together anymore so choose your tattoo choices wisely so you don't have regrets of taking it out.

Purpose Isn't Any Of These

Growing up, we are faced with a lot of challenges that eventually distract us from being who we truly want to be because we are carried away. One thing that can really keep us in check is PURPOSE.

What does it mean to have purpose? What does purpose mean to you?

To me, Purpose is finding that one thing that keeps you burning & hungry. It is the first thing on your mind when you wake up and the last thing before bed time.
Purpose = Vision... more like direction for the soul.
It is interesting how in life, we are controlled by many things ... money, fashion, sports and betting, news, lifestyle, travels etc... we base off peripheral things... things that don’t actually matter. Things that can just slip off your hands easily.

I am a big preacher of inclining oneself to immaterial things instead such as love, faith, helping others, impacting lives, giving to the poor/needy. In my 24 years of being alive, I have realized that life is a sprint, you need to run for a bit & rest for a bit to gather strength and restrategize for the next race. You need to align yourself with things that are energy filling like worshipping a supreme being, connecting with people of same value, educating someone.

In order to be on purpose, you have to be intentional... ‘Brymo’ a popular artist made this comment in one of his music that “Age is like fine wine but of little use in the moment”; I hold on to this so much because, thinking about it on a deeper level, I can argue that it is so true. A lot of youth these days are on the ‘high way of life’ struggling for mundane things such as women, riches, fame.... who is the most popular thing... Let’s be practical, a lot of people, infact majority don’t listen to motivation... I strongly advice against this behavior because if you are really going to be successful, you need all the motivation you can get to be very honest.  We look up to people like Myles Monroe, Rockefellers, Jay-z, Oprah, House of Tara, Ibukun Awosika, Les Brown, Beyoncé, Nicki Minaj... I could go on and on, if these guys didn’t/aren’t living a life of purpose, we won’t be mentioning their names today.

As a young person, it is time to find your way back... leave the highway where everyone is rushing towards... step back and reflect...It is way better to be known by few as a quality person than to be known by multitude as a Nuisance. I understand that Nuisance is a strong word and a lot of people might stop stop reading this write up here... but anyway, live a life of purpose always!.

Now you ask, how do I live a life of purpose?

1. Step Back To Retrace Your Steps: ask yourself, where have I missed it?... this is hard.. this is probably the hardest thing you would ever do in your life but it is totally worth it. Stepping back gives room for your inner being to reflect and connect. It gives your soul the chance to reverberate.

2. What Drives You?: ask yourself, what is that one thing that I would do even if I wasn’t paid to do it for the rest of my life? What would you do to make you grateful for you for choosing it? Go deep into your soul and search...

3. Stay On Your Purpose: once you have answered the above question, stay there... this is the second hardest thing in life because things will get tough... you will be pushed to the wall, your faith will be tested with hot irons and things of the world but only the determined survive. Success comes to those who persevere, endure, work hard and PRAY.

In conclusion, when finding your purpose, you need to connect to a supreme being,  you need to be rooted and grounded in spirituality because the spirit controls the physical...

If you found this impactful, share with someone you love!

Sad Love By Esmerelda

When you loose what you love,

You may never get it back,

Once you get it back,

It might not last long,

If a true man leaves his second for his first,

How certain is it that he would not jilt his first love for another?

He will though, because it is obvious that you’re not his first love,

Maybe the other he gilted.

God knows who is right

God knows who has left

May he never leave you in between

Anytime you love someone

It’s either they love you back and wax stronger

Or it doesn’t move an inch

It’s hard to move on

Any guy can make his way into a girl

Majority make it into her heart

Only a few can touch her soul

A flexible tough guy is attractive

A soft emotional guy can easily chicken out

Some people don’t want to see me find your love

But it’s hard to find, you handed it over

It’s never good to loose the one you love

Pride ruins, pride kills

Endurance and understanding, I would show

I miss the way we feel

When we were together

Sexual pictures coming to my head

Seduction at its peak

Baby, let me show you true love

I truly miss you, I need you a hundred percent

You added meaning to my life.

We had our ups and downs

A life was lost along the line

But it’s still you when it’s still you

It’s quite hard to loose someone you truly love,

It’s harder to say bye than bye-bye,

I still want you back,

I promise not to be careless,

I did not see what I had,

Maybe I didn’t understand the meaning of value.

Missing you a lot,

I know we have some future,

Hope we make it shine like stars,

We would produce another life together,

With you, I have all,

Without you.... I have none,

I want you to have more,

You’re worth more than gold,

I love you still,

I don’t want to loose you,

I want our coming back to be worth the time apart.

My Make-up is pun with colors - MUA Onaope

Beauty is an energy we all possess that comes from the soul and radiates through the skin and face. Today, we speaking with Make up artist, Beauty influencer and content creator “Babarinsa Onaopepo” about her artistry, journey and challenges she has faced in the game.

What's your name?

My name is Onaopepo and it means so many ways to give thanks but everyone calls me Onaope.

What inspired your makeup artistry business?

I have always been a really creative person since I was little so it came to me naturally. I was that child that would draw on their notes and on the walls, every where I could find and I love experimenting with color. If I wasn’t into make up, I’d still be an artist of some sort.

How did your brand name come out?

It’s just my name and the first letter of my middle name.

Are you self taught or you learnt from

someone?

I learnt the basic rudiments of make up for three months under the tutelage of Betvikkies_ Muas .

I also watched a lot of YouTube videos and tried to recreate challenging looks from other make up artists.

Tell us about your learning process?

It was really fun. I looked forward to learning something new everyday. I’m still learning till now and when I see a challenging look or any form of inspiration, I get really excited.

I love to challenge myself each time because I get easily bored.

What's the most exciting part of your job?

When I imagine a look in my head and it comes out perfect or better still, when I do a clients make up and you can see that they love it.

What challenges have you encountered since you started this business?

People tend to think you’re unserious or uneducated and try to take advantage of you because you’re offering them a service. Also some brands I’ve worked with try to exploit me without pay .

Also I hate when clients delay me.

Which Makeup artists inspires your craft or you looking up to?

This is very hard but @tiaad_tutorials inspires me a lot. Her make up is unreal.

@jackieaina is someone  I look up to a lot.

Vanessa gyimah , Lhidhia Stanley and Dimma Umeh are also close to my heart.
