Jonny Ezi Tochukwu known professionally as 4RUNNA is a Nigerian hip-hop recording indie artiste, rapper, song-writer and producer born and raised in Port -Harcourt. His sound is a healthy mix of early melodies from all around the world carefully laced with poetry straight from his heart, giving listeners a sense of belonging and warming them up to the apparent soul and ear grabbing nature of his music. 


His early influences include the likes of Lil Wayne, Kanye West ,Jermaine Lamar Cole etc. Growing up in a household that held the music of the Jackson’s, 
Presley’s and John’s to high standards, 4RUNNA was surrounded by a lot of timeless records and as such, grew up wanting to make art that could represent something similar for generations yet to come. He started work on his debut project “On A Count Of 3” initially due summer 2020 but pushed back due to the Covid Outbreak. 



To make up for the postponement a 3 pack titled Full Volume Care Package (Stylized as) “Full Vol Care Pckg” is scheduled for release sometime 
in December. Asked on what his view on success as a hip-hop indie artiste from Port Harcourt would feel like, he replies “Right here and now, I feel like I’m standing outside on a windy night with my palms covered, lighting one matchstick after another, throwing them into the dead of the night hoping that one gets to start a fire. Getting a fire started would definitely feel like hitting success as an indie artiste from these parts, I might not be that guy that sets off the fire , but I’m 
sure as hell going to be one of the reasons why it’s going to be lit.”
