Daboy Kenzi expands his sound on debut EP “S.O.W (Sounds of Wavy)”

Daboy Kenzi has grown on fans over the years, with a style that is now uniquely his.
The ‘Chaos’ crooner keeps it short but sweet on his debut EP: “S.O.W (Sounds of
Wavy).” The four-track EP expands his discography through an experimental, laid-back
approach, and as expected, the vibe is effortlessly cool.

Living up to its namesake, the new EP drops with a relaxed energy that hits just right.
Fittingly, it opens up with slow drums that gently welcome listeners to the meditative
atmosphere of ‘Sabali (Intro)’ before drawing them further in with the spiritual
undertones of ‘Dear Most High.’ It’s a convincing opening stretch that establishes the
mellow mood Daboy Kenzi is shooting for.

At least until ‘Odo Lastic’ arrives. This is where the project reaches its peak, with Daboy
Kenzi’s melodies making the EDM-inspired backdrop simply addictive. It’s a fun piece
that highlights his sense of adventure in a way that makes the EP’s final track,
‘Questions,’ feel almost dull. Here, the crooner puts his affection front and center,
creating a track that feels closer to the artist fans have come to know.

All in all, “S.O.W (Sounds of Wavy)” shows promise. While it carries an almost
experimental quality, it is polished enough to feel fully realized. Regardless, one can
easily sense the love that went into crafting this authentic and engaging experience.

Port Harcourt-bred artist steps fully into his unfiltered self on a raw Afrobeats anthem built for the internet generation. PORT HARCOURT, NIGERIA — Harshterg , the Alte trailblazer and creative force behind the SpiggVerse movement , is announcing the release of his bold new single, "Carter"— a declaration of intent, a shift in energy, and the opening statement of a new chapter he calls the Buffterg Era. Inspired by the chaotic cultural impact of viral sensation Carter Efe, "Carter" is what happens when an artist stops playing it safe. Built on raw Afrobeats drums and street-inspired rap melodies rooted in Port Harcourt, the record blends humor, hunger, and real-life pressure into something aggressive, catchy, and completely unfiltered. It is louder, wilder, and more committed than anything Harshterg has put out before — music designed to be seen as much as heard. "If you no get money you be bastard / Na why I wan mad just like Carter" The hook cuts ...
