Bella Shmurda Channels Greatness in latest, 'New Born Fela'

 Bella Shmurda, the voice of the young people, has just released a new single, aptly titled 'New Born Fela'. The young talent who is widely known for conscious music with street sensibilities and mass appeal, channels the spirit of the late Afrobeat progenitor Fela Anikulapo-Kuti, in his latest release.


New Born Fela' produced by Fancy Beats, sees Bella Shmurda authoritatively claim he is the people's champion - "I be the newborn Fela, storyteller, battery charger." 

  A brief sax solo comes in at the middle of the song right after Bella Shmurda claims refuge in Fela's communal haven- Kalakuta Republic. New Born Fela' was released across all streaming platforms on Thursday, August 4, 2022.
