the mind holds great potentials,
the heart is the mother of destruction,
the mind nurtures and knows the truth,
but the heart accepts lies and deceit,
why hurt your pen with tears over what people say?

 corrupt your mind with lies from your heart,
validations from mortals are gateways to failure,
but who doesn't want her squad to know about her ideas and dreams??

 your creativity cries to escape judgement from the chain you put him, 
it begs for mercy even when you know he's innocent,
of the crime your peers accuse him off, 
Rome wasn't built in a day,
doesn't mean its foundation wasnt done in hours,
drugs for the stress 
then prayers for your redemption.

 never put out mediocre work for fame, 
stop throwing bricks at glass houses,
since you own one too, 
patience can cook a stone.
