Reacting to the nominations, Kay Kamz said: “The sound you hear is me. What I
bring on board is me and tweaks from the people around me. I am not only blessed
but also favoured that my sound appeals to the mass. I am honoured to be part of
the awards and to be nominated in these categories. I can’t wait to see what the
future looks like. A special thank you to the people around me who have had an
impact in my musical journey, Emerit and all board directors”.

musicians shaping Ghana’s dynamic music scene. The awards scheme is dedicated
to recognizing rising Ghanaian creatives who are making notable contributions
across a wide range of musical genres.
